AN ELEGY
on the much lamented death of many thousand excellent
patriots, and supporters of their country, in the Kingdom of
Ireland; who were confined, and starved with cold and
hunger. . . [3 lines]
Dublin, Jan. 18.

Grave was thy harp before, and half unstrung,
Slow mov'd the finger, plaintive was the tongue:
. . . [2 columns, bewailing loss of potato crop.]
